There are two swims on offer here - the 2km and the 1km. Both swims begin just south of the wreck of the SS Dicky. From there they'll head north to the rocks off Ann St before tracking back to the Neil St rocks.
There's special entry categories for both families and elite competitors. Family entry to both events covers three members from the family. Remember though - the minimum age is only nine years old. The elite entry, as you could imagine, is for the best of the best.
There are also some cash prizes on offer for the best of the best. The first to finish in both the male and female categories will receive $300. Second place getters will get $200 and the men and women who come third will receive $100 each. Not too bad for an early morning swim. Entries will open closer to the event date.
