Rock the Square is back for 2018 bringing a degustation of musical genres to Adelaide's Victoria Square / Tarntanyangga , which will leave you satiated right into winter.

Forget eating a boring sandwich at your desk at lunchtime, or heading to the mall after work for a quick bite before going home, come on down and enjoy the amazing offerings from Adelaide's best food truck experiences while listening to your favourite sounds.

12 pm – 2 pm Thursday 1 February 2018 – Summer in the City

This will easily make you forget the heat of last weekend as you chill with the cool sounds of up-and-comers Kashaguava and Campe Coyote opening the Rock the Square series of events.

Enjoy the food of Doremi, Sri Lankan Street Food with Soza's and New York style street food with AJ's.

5 pm to 7 pm Thursday 8 February 2018 – Valentine's Vibes

Supplement your selection of activities from my Free Valentine's Treats 2018 article and treat your love to an early Valentine's dinner at Rock the Square . Love songs will be provided by Naomi Keyte and Cowboys of Love, all you need to do is supply dinner from the amazing offerings by Doremi, Soza's and AJ's.

12 pm – 2 pm Thursday 8 March 2018 – Women Rock the Square

Celebrate International Women's Day with Press for Progress at Rock the Square. This year's theme strives to unite communities to champion gender inclusiveness. Female artists Hot Mess and Madura Green will treat you to music you can celebrate by.

Enjoy Doremi, tacos by Taco Cat and AJ's.

5 pm to 7 pm Thursday 15 March 2018 – Country to City

Bring a little bit of country into the city and celebrate our country cousins with local country music artists Alana Jagt and Corey Theatre Music.

Come along and enjoy Taco Cat and Soza's.

12 pm to 2 pm Thursday 3 May 2018 – Voice, voices, voices

Music is great but there something very special about an a capella choir. This lunchtime, it is all about the sweet, sweet sounds of outstanding vocals. Choirs are yet to be confirmed, please check the website closer to the date.

Enjoy Taco Cat, Soza's or the taste of Asia and North, Central and South America with CAROclub.

5 pm to 7 pm Thursday 10 May 2018 – Jazz in the Square

Have we left a genre out? With the History Festival in full swing, it is time to celebrate our history and heritage with a special jazz edition with a historical twist. Bands are yet to be confirmed, please check the website closer to the date.

This final Rock the Square will see you indulging in mouth-watering tastes from Soza's, AJ's and CAROclub.
