On Friday, 28 March 2014, David opened South Australia's Hall of Fame at the Goodwood Institute in Adelaide. He donated 40 years of music memorabilia. During 2014 -15 Adelaide Music Collective has showcased musical talent past and present, of various genres at the AMC Sessions. These sessions continue to be a historical preservation of outstanding and talented South Australian performers.
On the night there will be an auction with Guest Auctioneer, Graham Cornes.

Also copies of David's 2013 Rock Jock - David Day's Autobiography will be available for purchase. At the age of 12 years, David began to write a journal. This was the beginning of his memoirs. He always desired to have an interesting life, but never imagined he would. How wrong could he be? His memoirs are told in his frank and honest style, providing a gripping and entertaining insight into his life in radio and the rock music industry as he reminisced those glory days of so many local and interstate artists who achieved international status and became legendary heroes.
