Dean Luke, a specialist electric guitar teacher, is hosting an intensive 'Rock God Blueprint Workshop' on Saturday 27th of August 2016 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.Over two hours, Dean will teach students a combination of techniques and musical concepts that form the foundation of great rhythm and lead guitar playing. This blueprint, once recognised, can be adopted by anyone and will take an electric guitarist's ability and understanding to new levels.This interactive workshop is ideal for those who are stuck in a rut both musically and technically and feel confined to a limited understanding of rhythm and lead guitar playing. Under Dean's guidance, students will participate in creative exercises and explore music examples that can be directly adapted to one's own playing style.For less than the price of an average guitar lesson students will learn the fundamental musical and technical concepts required to play great electric guitar in both rhythm and lead styles.The Rock God Blueprint workshop will be split into two separate hour-long segments.Some of the guitar concepts The Rock God Blueprint will explore include:Blues Rock riffs and what you need to know to write your own.Chord fills in both major and minor progressions and how to use them in your own playing.Heavy riffs and what you need to know to write your own.Playing riffs with different musical components like chord inversions and suspended chords.Picking and Legato, how to execute them correctly and apply them to your own playing.Phrasing and Mixing major and minor pentatonic, how to execute them correctly and apply them to your own playing.Pinched harmonics, how to execute them correctly and apply them to your own playing.Sweep Picking and Tapping, how to execute them correctly and apply them into your own playing.As part of the experience all students will receive The Rock God Blueprint workbook, complete with all the techniques and musical concepts covered in the workshop and The Rock God Blueprint instructional CD-R with video demonstrations of all the techniques and musical concepts covered in the workshop, plus half an hour of FREE bonus material.
