These July school holidays, a highly interactive and hands-on 3-Day Robotics Holiday Camp is being held at Scotch College, Swanbourne. This is an opportunity for your child to build, code and command a Mini Mars Rover robot on a set of unique Martian challenges! The Robotics Holiday Camp is a fun, educational and team-based program, designed for children aged 8 to 12 years.
The Edgyx team believe every child can learn the basics of coding and their action-packed program encourages young children to embrace cutting edge technology, science and engineering for enjoyment, challenge and learning.
Held in a great central and inspirational venue with a low teacher to student ratio, the Robotics Holiday Camp will see children have great fun while developing meaningful and deep learning outcomes.
Delivered by a highly experienced real-world Robotics expert, the Robotics Holiday Camp is an excellent starter program for kids to learn the basics of Mechatronics and Coding and commanding robots.
The program is hands-on with 70% of the curriculum focused on building robotic anatomical parts (i.e. arms and hands) and coding and commanding the robot.
Children will also develop an understanding of how to use circuits, gears, motors, sensors and levers and work with a large number of Lego and Martian bots and parts.
The Robotics Holiday Camp is held in a small class size to ensure your child receives individual attention.
Enrolment is now open for this exciting school holiday program and places are strictly limited. Choose from two dates: 5th - 7th July OR 12th - 14th July at Scotch College.
