How about a Sci-Fi/Comedy stage play?
Imagine a world where robots control the planet. They live the life that we once lived. For us, the human race, we are now endangered; slaves to the robots that now use us to mine and extract mineral deposits for them. These mineral deposits allow the robots to continue to function in their 'robot society'.

But now they want to begin to create art. And when a robot decides to write a play this begins the roller coaster of change. Executive Producer Master Bot locates the human Giles, who is a former theatre director, to help them create this art. But how does a robot, a machine with no emotion, create art? Can Giles help robots understand such a complex thing as feelings?

'Robot vs Art' is such a great concept by Travis Cotton (Writer). Travis has written a stage play that is a sci-fi/comedy about a human trying to teach robots emotion so they can make a play. I can just see with anticipation how funny this play will be. With such praise for the original production by The Age and I am sure that Director Phil Miolin will live up to expectations with his talented cast who includes Sean Walsh, Damon Lockwood, Renee Newman-Storen and Ben Mortley.

'Robort vs Art' at The Blue Room Theatre

"Robots vs Art will make you laugh and have you hoping like hell that when the robots take over, the right ones are in charge."

"A slick and entertaining comedy of ideas" The Age

"The comedy, one liners and theatre/arts industry insider jokes lined throughout the play are top notch and worth the cost of the ticket alone"

I will definitely have to give this show a go. The best part is that the prices are rather affordable, being that it is the same price as a cinema ticket. You can buy tickets now on The Blue Room Theatre website.
