He is a most successful English singer, songwriter and actor. A complete package you might say. He was born on 13 Feb 1974. He has been part of the pop group 'Take That' on a couple of occasions, 1990-95 and 2009-2012. He has also enjoyed commercial success as a solo artist.

He rose to fame in his first stint with 'Take That'. After a disagreement with the group's management, he left to pursue a solo career, in which all but one of his eleven studio albums reached Number One in the United Kingdom. Robbie Williams has also released seven Number One singles. On 15 July 2010, he rejoined 'Take That' and their subsequent album "Progress" became the second fastest-selling album in the United Kingdom"s chart history. He again left the group, but this time an amicable departure.

He is the best-selling British artist in the UK and the best selling non-Latino artist in Latin America. Six of his albums are among the top 100 best-selling albums in the UK. In 2006 he was actually entered in the Guinness Book of World Records for selling 1.6 tickets to his 'Close Encounters Tour' in a single day. Some achievement.

Robbie Williams has also received a record eighteen Brit Awards, won the Best British Male four times, two awards for Outstanding Contributor to Music, the 2016 Brits Icon for his lasting impact on British Culture, eight German ECHO Awards and three MTV European Music Awards.

In 2004 he was inducted into the United Kingdom Music Hall of Fame after being voted Greatest Artist of the 1990's. And there is much more too.
