Thursday, 13th September is Roald Dahl's Birthday and Brisbane City Council Libraries are celebrating the world famous author all across town. Some libraries are hosting "Revolting Tea Parties", themed craft activities, interactive displays, trivia games, stories and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory film showings.

This year marks 30 Years since The Big Friendly Giant (BFG) was published, and plenty of whizzpopping fun is planned. If you can't get along to a library, you can download a BFG Party Pack on the Roald Dahl website here.

Thursday, 13th September:
Toowong - 10.30 - 11.30am
West End - 3.30 - 4.30pm
Ashgrove - 4-5.30pm
Sunnybank Hills - 4-5pm & Film 5.30 - 7.30pm
Garden City - 5 - 6.30pm
Mt Ommaney - 6.30 - 7.30pm

Friday, 14th September:
Annerley - 3.30 - 4.30pm

Saturday, 15th September:
Inala - 10 - 11am

Thursday, 27th September:
