Elvis has landed in Brisbane and you can join him for lunch. From the black and white checkered floor to the converted gasoline pump, this quirky roadhouse will definitely take you back in time. The walls are covered in unusual Route 66 paraphernalia and you can choose your own music on the Wurlitzer Jukebox.

Marilyn Monroe watches over diners from one corner and a waitress on roller skates presides over some other tables. This real American style diner serves typical roadhouse fare - milkshakes, coffee, hamburgers, fries, sandwiches, cakes, cookies, etc.

The best part for us was sitting on super comfy refashioned car seats. These shiny red Chevy seats provided heaps of fun while we ate our burgers and sipped milkshakes. While only very tiny and off the beaten track, Roadhouse 98 Lulu's has been lovingly decorated and has a real authentic Route 66 feel. All in all, a great place to "get your kicks" right here in Brisbane.
