This fabulous waterfront dining location is positioned in full view of some of the most elegant and luxury boats floating on the Coomera River and is now open for you to come and enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a drink at the bar.

Offering delicious affordable food, great service and delightful ambience, the secret to this 'location with a view' is the Riviera Yacht manufacturer is located within the precinct and when boats are built, they often float them in the river for testing and viewing.

Step inside the restaurant and you will notice the red and green channel markers which form part of the stylish nautical interior theme, cleverly thought out by the owners. The colourful lighting provides a nice atmosphere for night time dining.
This superb dining venue has recently been opened by owners who bring with them many years of hospitality experience, around 50 years worth in fact, between Robin, Barbara and Chelsie, their daughter. From running hotels and restaurants in the southern state of Victoria, a decision was made to come to Queensland and do what they do best in a location they found irresistible to work with.
Backed with this experience you can of course expect with certainty, a tantalising well presented meal and this is definitely what will be served up to you when you dine here. Having been in the business long enough, the owners know the best ways of how to cater and prepare to serve their market well.

Bring some friends along on the last Sunday of the month to sit back and enjoy the Jazz and Shiraz session 1pm to 4pm. Great way to 'chill out' and enjoy a few drinks along with some great tasting tapas.

THE FOOD
With many tempting selections on the menu it was a hard to choose, so we decided to have a few tapas to share and follow that with a main meal each. We couldn't have been more impressed. Both presentation and taste were superb. I'm sure you will agree when you view the photos below which alone may be enough to tempt you.
The cuisine on offer is described as Asian inspired Australian, simply reflecting Australian style food with the infusion of Asian spices to enhance the flavours of the dishes that are served. Great variety offered along with the standard seafood and beef dishes. Salads, vegetarian and gluten free options are all available.

Don't be fooled by the name Rivera Yacht Club sounding like an 'exclusive' invitation to members or boat owners, there are no 'club forms' to sign and this place is open for everyone to enjoy including dining enthusiasts like yourselves the locals, and all visitors to the area.

**Now with that in mind and the certainty that you're feeling enticed to go, the owners are generously offering all WeekendNotes subscribers a 15% discount off your dining experience.

To receive this offer please mention 'Weekend Notes 15% dining offer' when you make a booking.**

AND just a little arrival tip for when you come down.
When you drive along Waterways drive, look out for the sign below. This is where you turn right into the precinct. You drive right down towards the back past the 'security hut' to the car parking area. The restaurant is on the left side.

With more ideas being developed and for more reasons to come, you can keep up to date with what's happening here via the facebook page. View the restaurant website here and view information on the Coomera River here.

If you are thinking about a group function, whether an informal business meeting, conference, a special celebration or for your wedding, this place will surely delight all your guests.
