This August, the Riverside Theatres Parramatta will be showcasing a wide range of theatre events, including theatre productions, shows, stand-up comedy, cinema screenings and more.
1. Out of Africa

Details: Out of Africa is a celebration and meditation on one woman's journey from the Savannah Plains and Zimbabwe to Australia. Tarisai Vushe teamed up with Playscript Geoffrey Skyes to present this amazing story through traditional and Australian song, dance, storytelling, rap, comedy, and more.

2. Sringaram

Cost: Tickets range from $35-$45pp
Details: Presented by Rasana Dance Theatre, this dance performance is based on a tale of love explored through the Indian Classical Dance form of Bharatanatyam.

Details: Australia's first-ever Aerial Tissu dedicated competition, La Folie, will be showcasing the ultimate annual national competition for Aerial Tissu artists of all levels across Australia and worldwide.

4. Sydney Comedy Club in August

5. Uninvited

Details: Uninvited is a celebration of music Grammy Award-winning artist Alanis Morissette. This unforgettable live show will showcase Melbourne's vocalist, and musician Katie Weston will take you on a musical journey with songs from the global phenomenon 1995 album Jagged Little Pill as well as standout songs from Morissette's other albums.

6. Simon Tedeschci & The Orava Quartet

7. Robot Song

Details: This family-friendly performance is based on a true story; Robot Song showcases when the transformative nature of creativity combined with unconditional love becomes an unstoppable force.
When eleven-year-old Juniper May received a petition signed by her entire class stating that she is 'the most hated person in the school', her life is thrown into a complete meltdown. Finally, after exhausting all other avenues, her parents resort to the only thing they have left, a giant singing robot.

8. South Asian Theatre Festival
