Experience the buzz of Riverside Theatres at home

Following the announcement of Riverside Theatres Digital, Riverside Theatres are thrilled to announce the first event in the brand new series of specially produced digital concerts, digital film screenings and more!

Concerts will be fully live, once only, and streamed via YouTube on Sunday nights, just after the sun sets at 5pm.

Here's what's coming up:

  • 31 May 2020: You'll Never Walk Alone sees Helpmann Award-winner and Riverside favourite Luke Joslin (Les Misérables (Director) Avenue Q, Shrek) directing the highs and lows of your favourite musical theatre songs performed by friends Rachael Beck (Barnum,The Circus Musical, Me and My Left Brain (film), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Daniel Belle (Ten Tenors, Les Misérables), Michael Cormick (Beauty and the Beast, The Phantom of the Opera), Robert McDougall, Penny McNamee, with legendary musical director Michael Tyack AM on piano.

  • 7 June 2020: No Cabaret For Old Men Join The Wharf Revue's Jonathan Biggins and Phil Scott as they give a veritable masterclass in cabaret – with neither the mastery nor class. Together, these lightly-seasoned performers examine the many strands of the cabaret art form – Audition Cabaret, Name-Drop Cabaret, Weimar, Broadway, Political, and the ever-popular "Rehash Some Old Material During the Lockdown".

The team at Riverside Theatres have worked hard to create this brand-new unique viewing experience, ensuring audiences can stay connected and entertained over this time.
