So much to little time...

Go on, have a taste
After having driven past the advertising banner about a million times since moving to this area, I felt it was time to go and check out the Riverside Organic Food Markets which are held at Riverside Girls High School in Huntleys Point every Saturday from 8.30am - 1pm.

A colourful market with lots to offer

At this market you will find organic fruit, veg, meat, chicken, fresh fish, baked goods, gluten free products, wholefoods, natural skin care products, and an assortment of other goods and accessories. People with tasting plates were abundant so you can definitely try before you buy. There is live musical entertainment every week to soothe your soul as you shop and plenty of seats to sit and enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat. They even have ponies.

My son enjoyed his pony ride, which cost $8. It was quite a long ride but if that isn't enough, there is also a jumping castle for $3 per 15 minutes to keep the kids amused. Although it operates until 1pm, last week at well before 12, stalls were already packing to leave and I felt as though some had already gone. I would suggest checking their Facebook page for all the latest details on what stalls will be present on the day to avoid disappointment. It is always up to date with the latest stall and entertainment information.
