The 2022 Riverland Rose and Garden Festival is set to be the biggest and brightest ever. This is Australia's premier Rose Festival and will be held from Friday 14th October to Sunday 23rd October 2022. The festival showcases the very best the Riverland region has to offer. It will kick off on Saturday, 15 October with a market style fair at the Jarrett Memorial Gardens, Renmark, from 9am to 2.30pm. There will be a wide variety of stalls, including handcrafts, homemade cakes, jams and biscuits, garden art and accessories, books, toys, jewellery and much more. Entry to the fair is free.



Another attraction is at The Renmark Institute, located at Ral Ral Avenue, where you will see many beautiful floral displays. This year there will be a special floral tribute to Queen Elizabeth II to celebrate her platinum jubilee and her 96th birthday. The display will be held only on the first weekend of the festival from Friday, 14 October to Sunday, 16 October 2022.



There will also be many beautiful gardens open to the public across the townships of Renmark, Berri, Waikerie, Loxton and Barmera. The Renmark Paringa Council itself has over 4500 rose bushes in various public garden beds around the town.



The Ruston's Rose Garden, located at Moorna Street, Renmark will also be open to the public. It is the largest private rose garden in Australia covering approximately 26 acres with more than 50,000 rose bushes and featuring some 4000 species.
