Rivergum Cottage Markets are set around one of Rouse Hill's oldest buildings, Lintbrae Cottage, once owned by noteworthy early settler and inn-keeper, John Seath. It is currently undergoing a total makeover to transform the family cottage into a beautiful cafe.
Rivergum Markets has become a huge success this year. Please note the next market days will be held on Saturday 29 October 10am to 2pm and Sunday 11 December - Twilight Market 3.30pm to 8.30pm. There will be over 65 stalls showcasing unique handicraft, home-made produce, local, country and vintage wares. The markets will have live music, gourmet food, farm animals, sheep shearing, slot cars, all sorts of great entertainment for the kids, so bring the whole family.
Before we know it, Christmas will be upon us so why not check out the markets for a unique gift for your loved ones. Or just enjoy a fun day out browsing the stalls and enjoy the food and entertainment.
Rivergum Cottage Markets are a not-for-profit market where profits raised go to making meals and providing food relief to those in Western Sydney and surrounding areas. Stall holders are charged a site fee which is $45 for an outside stall and $55 for an indoor stall. Any money that the stall holders then make on the day they keep, with only the site fee going to the funds raised by Rivergum Cottage.
This is no typical white elephant sale market full of odds and ends, you will also find small businesses displaying unique wares. So this is also a good opportunity to support the small local businesses that participate.
The markets are located at 49 Withers Road, Rouse Hill, NSW, so check out the map in this article or google maps for the exact location.
Was going to go to the twilight market this friday but checked the facebook page and its cancelled, The next markets aren't until Feb? I think the article needs to align with the facebook page so you don't have disappointed people driving a long way to Rouse Hill.
