No traveler to Bangkok should miss the opportunity to take a boat ride on the Chao Phraya River, which runs right through the city and provides easy access to many of the delightful sights Bangkok has to offer. Hop on a riverboat for as little as TB14 at Sathorn pier, and sit back as the often wildly contrasting scenery of Bangkok glides past.

Expect to see beautifully landscaped, glittering hotels neighboring rickety shacks tottering drunkenly on wooden stilts. Marvel at exquisitely sculpted temples standing proudly along the banks of the river and market stalls enticing the boats in with their wonderful scents and the explosion of colorful that is unique to South-East Asia. This definitely an experience not to be missed.
