has just brought delicious back!

Oh yes, they did, with their big breakfast and everything else on the menu! They brought back that kind of cafe food you really want. The kind that is hot and full of flavour.

There isn't any kind of exotic presentation or ingredient. This is good delicious flavourful food and yes, I keep saying delicious and flavourful because it is. It's like what you'd make yourself at home, but better. So it comes hot, not with some of it hot and cold toast or the eggs tasting like vinegar from being poached. It comes hot and dare I say it, with a little bit of that glistening buttery grease that we all know and maybe won't admit out loud is absolutely (and yes, I'll say it again) delicious.

I can't show you a picture of the Big Breakfast because I ate it and forgot to take a picture, but don't worry there's more...

While I am boasting about the greatness of the Big Breakfast at Rito's, I can't leave out another unique breakfast option they have brought delicious back with and that's the Homemade Italian Flatbread Toasty. There is an Italian meat one and a ham and cheese one and both are… you guessed it delicious. Not to mention the sandwich is something a little fitting for a continental cafe.

This cafe is one of those cafes that is a bit of a hidden gem and I've just spilled a little bit of a local secret. The actual store itself is prominent and full of customers for the cafe, deli and continental goods. It sits right next to Coles, so it's a perfect stop in for your pre or post-shopping coffee.

But the locals know a little bit more about Rito's and that's how great the cafe food is. Some of these locals have been visiting Rito's since before it moved to its new location on Beach Road in Christies Beach South Australia. They know how great the coffee is and they know all about the cafe and the Big Breakfast and how delicious it is.

Rito's Café and Continental is a family owned business and Mark and Jeremy along with their parents are often out from behind the counter talking with customers. There is a friendly atmosphere here and it's surrounded with European warmth the family brings along with the vast assortment of local and imported goods in the continental section.

Rito's also has an assortment of coffee beans which they will gladly grind for you to take home. That freshly ground aroma is just another good thing. They even have Perogies which is something you must try if you haven't. They are a very popular Polish dish that I often enjoyed at the Polish hall back home in Canada.

Breakfast isn't the only great thing on the menu. The selection of cakes that you can enjoy with your coffee is huge and they are fresh and there is absolutely no crime against having a cake after your breakfast. It's never too early for treats.

In fact, you can also grab a little bag of liquorice because Rito's has those big "Little House on the Prairie Jars" of liquorice in all sorts of varieties, including one called Pig Face. It's pink liquorice and it's also very good and the perfect addition to your take away bag of goodies from Rito's. A great little spot to pop in to say hello to Jeremy and Mark and have something… Delicious to eat!
