The Wollotuka Institute at the University of Newcastle and Hunter Local Land Service have collaborated on a unique 2 day Land and Cultural Festival to raise awareness and celebrate the rich Aboriginal Cultural Heritage of the Hunter Region. Rising from the Embers is a festival that focuses on increasing community access to cultural heritage and local land management activities and the event is FREE.

REGISTER to attend on Saturday 29 May 2021 from 10am to 3pm at The Wollotuka Institute, Birabahn Building, Ring Road, Callaghan. Engage with a variety of local service providers, entertainers and cultural knowledge holders for an interactive educational experience. This event is for the 29th May, however there is a Schools Day as well on Friday 28 May from 10am to 2pm.
