Don't be fooled by the looks of this hidden gem, located at the north end of Christies Beach Esplanade. Ripple & Swirl is definitely worth the short walk past the surf lifesaving club.





With a view worth taking considerably more time to choose from the family friendly menu, this small beachside cafe offers a wide range of food at reasonable prices. There is a full all day breakfast menu, with eggs whichever way you could possibly think of, croissants, toast varieties, sharing starters and meals, burgers and wraps, salads and mains and a choice of kids meals.





There are also many different boards to choose specials from, along with a wide range of different hot beverages, freshly squeezed juices, milkshakes, iced drinks, a smoothie menu to keep any fruit lover happy (fruit smoothie, berry nice, the fruity delight, mixed berry, nutty choc banana, passion fruit mango refresher, the orange blitz, go green, banana pick me up and brekkie in a cup) along with a chest full of ice creams. They also do many items for take away.



When visiting, we had a latte (hit the spot!) and Big Breakfast to share, and boy am I glad we did! It was a seriously generous portion and it was like the breakfast that kept on giving, under layers of eggs, bacon and Turkish bread. The service was quick and the team happily engaged in friendly conversation that made it even more enjoyable.





When you walk inside this café, you know you're at the beach. The décor gives that seaside feel, with a wooden touch to its surroundings and also the simple touches such as a nautical display of peace, love and burgers!



With 2 seating areas outside, one being inside a charming courtyard with added protection, it's hard not to find a seat without the perfect view. There is also ample seating inside and also at the back of the café for a quieter atmosphere.



The cafe has also received 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor and is currently rated 6 out of 16 in the Port Noarlunga area – not bad for a little cafe which has a constant stream of happy customers. Also, check out their Facebook pages for more great reviews.
