Light up the night
The beauty of Christmas lights lighting up a silent night is something that can't be replicated at any other time of the year. The magic fills the air and the sparkling fairy lights become ethereal. The streets are filled with joy and twinkling lights, and in the city of Perth, there is a beautiful Christmas Lights Trail every year. And every year, they get bigger and better.

For the sixth year in a row, the lights are returning. This year, it covers 6kms of Perth City and there are 35 unique large-scale light installations. You will get the chance to see beautiful immersive projections on historic buildings throughout the city. There will also be classic Christmas characters and beautiful light up Aussie animals.

There are so many lights to see, and it is a great event to take your family with you. Kids will love the gorgeous displays, and there will be other things to check out in the city while you're there. You can make an evening and a night of this beautiful light trail.

This is a free event and you can go through the trail from November 18th to the 2nd of January. The projections start at 6pm every night and go until 11pm, so you have plenty of time to get to see them all if you don't think you can get through the 6kms all at once. Or even if you do get through them all in one night, you can always go and enjoy them again for a second time.

So nice to have something wonderful to show the kids without damaging the family budget.

I am confused, you say the trail is available 18th Nov until 2nd Jan, however when looking at the website about the trails it says Friday and Saturday evenings and only until 24th Dec??? When is it actually open and available for viewing?

Thanks
