has been operating for well over a hundred years. The current owners have recently restored this hotel to its former glory with some amazing architecture on show. This hotel is in prime position for anyone who is catching a show at the Capital Theatre or soaking in some culture from the Bendigo Art Gallery. It is also located just across the road from the Queen Elizabeth Oval, making this a wonderful spot to relax after a solid game of football.



The Food
The menu is available online here . Four of us went out for dinner during our trip to the Rifle Brigade Hotel Bendigo. This gave us the opportunity to try a sample of offerings from their dinner menu.

The choice was varied whilst not being overwhelming. They have segmented their menu into the main element of the dish. I did notice that there weren't too many options available for vegetarians or vegans.

The price was a little on the high end for a 'pub' setting but the quality was amazing. Everyone finished their meals feeling both full and satisfied. For the four adult meals and drinks we came in just over $100.

The Drinks
isn't just a great place to have a decent feed. Their drinks menu is extensive and the bar staff are more than willing to create a cocktail for you.

The Atmosphere
We found the eating area to be quite relaxing. There are heaps of nooks and crannies available for a more secluded dining experience. The bar was available should you only be interested in drinks.

Booking
We rang the Rifle Brigade Hotel on (03) 5443 4092 to make sure that we had a table. This was the perfect thing to do as even on a Tuesday evening they were quite busy.

Functions
is also the perfect location to hold your next birthday, event or function. They have an absolutely spectacular upstairs space that you can hire. They have all of the trimmings of a conference space whilst also offering intimate dining experiences and the fun of the balcony.

Conclusion
in Bendigo is a great option for a quality feed. The menu is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed and the service was phenomenal. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Bendigo, especially if you were visiting the Art Gallery or Capital Theatre.
