For the fourth year, Brisbane BMW and Westside Brisbane are once again holding the Ride for Life Challenge on Sunday 10 November 2013. Not only is this fantastic event a cycle challenge, but also a charity event with proceeds going to Guide Dogs Queensland who provides free services to people who are blind or vision impaired in order to equip, empower and educate them; The Pyjama Foundation, who supplies volunteers in delivering mentoring programs to children in foster care; and NexGen Foundation, who recognises and promotes gifted junior triathletes.

Introducing a completely new route this year, Ride for Life Challenge starts at Riverside Park, Hamilton, heads towards the western suburbs, then south of the Brisbane CBD before travelling back to Riverside Park. Encompassing a total of 80km, this cycling loop is a fully supported ride with police escort, a rest stop, cycle guides, first aid, mechanical support and support vehicles.
