If you're looking for an alternative to sushi, try traditional Vietnamese rice paper rolls. Like sushi, they're fast, fresh, and full of flavour.

NamNam (168 Adelaide Street) is a small, hole-in-the-wall takeaway in the city offering delicious lunch options. As well as Vietnamese rice paper rolls, they sell salads, baguettes (banh mi), and noodle soup (pho).

On a recent visit, I purchased a combo pack ($7.90) with crispy prawns, spiced soy beans, and three rice paper rolls: avocado and fresh Asian vegetables, traditional prawn summer roll, and pork marinated in lemongrass and black pepper.

NamNam is num num.

I love rice paper rolls, however, I think I prefer sushi
