Ribs & Burgers is every delicious guilty meaty pleasure that I know, even those health-conscious type cave into once in a while.
The Chatswood venue has just recently opened and has managed to win the hearts of many locals. It is situated on the outer-skirt of Chatswood CBD but that did not stop this burger joint to become the go-to hotspot for local families. It is one of those feel-good places that you know you will ended up on a Friday night.
When you head to Ribs & Burgers you can't miss it at the busy intersection between Victoria Avenue and Penshusrt Street. The bright blue and white sign beckons you to come hither, followed by the tantalizing aroma of quality beef getting cooked up in the kitchen.
It was a coolish Spring night and we headed to Ribs & Burgers with a few friends for dinner. The decor looked inviting with long leather seating and wooden benches. It was no wonder the place was solidly packed on a Friday night and we waited 20 minutes before a table became available.
The menu selection sounded mouth-watering and it was one challenging task when we were extremely hungry. My tummy growled every time the waitstaff whizzed pass with tall burgers and rib boards.
We ended up ordering a few selection off the menu. First up was some irresistible deep fried onion rings, served with Ribs & Burger's famous house pink sauce. (This secret homemade pink sauce was to die for, I could literally have it on anything!).

Next up was my all-time favorite - a really really delicious wagyu burger. I will tell you why this was a good burger...
Firstly, the thick juicy wagyu beef patty was grilled to perfection. It was topped with fresh salad (which I won't bore you with) pink and BBQ sauce and topped with gratifying crispy fried onion rings! It was the messy-kind of burger that you got to eat with both of your hands.
Who knew when a burger teamed with those crunchy onion rings was just the perfect finishing touch.

I must say, the limited edition, Nachos Grande Burger was the standout burger for tonight. It contained a juicy beef patty, crunchy nacho corn chips, American cheese, smashed avocado and black bean aioli! If you want to be transported to Mexican, this is the burger for you.
I really liked this burger and it was packed of flavour. The nachos chip added a crunch texture and smashed avocado created a smooth creamy texture. It was a definite winner burger in my opinion.
I should mention burger size was quite substantial and definitely worth the buck.

The Steakhouse Burger was another main we ordered out of ambition. This burger contained a large slab of pasture-fed rib-eye steak. The steak was indeed succulent, juicy and BBQ to perfection. It tasted delicious together with caramelised onion, tomato, baby cos, dill pickles and of course the house pink sauce (I told you, this pink sauce goes with everything!). A great burger for those who are definitely massive red meat fans.
Lastly was the popular side dish of Ribs and Burgers' famous chips. I love my potatoes and these thick straight-cut chips were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We ordered a medium bowl and we devoured it down in no time between friends. I drenched my chips in that much-loved-pink-sauce and the calories I put on my waist were worth it.
The food is deliciously yummy and the atmosphere in the restaurant is just the right amount of lively and relaxed. This is the place that I want to genuinely sit down and enjoy a good juicy messy burger.
