I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.
Have a delicious great value meal in the heart of Sydney's Rocks area at Ribs and Burgers. The outdoor terrace has views over the bustling Rocks markets and is a perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon. If you can't get a seat outside the large indoor space has quirky decor and window seats with great water views, you will also have a great view of the open kitchen.
Ribs and Burges is an Australian chain of over 17 stores that was founded in 2011 by people with a background in butchery and a passion for serving fresh and flavoursome no-nonsense food. The burgers are handmade from 100% Australian grass fed, hormone free beef and all the chicken is free range. Part of the company ethos is to support local farmers and sponsor community groups.
The menu is comprehensive and contains chicken, seafood and salads as well as ribs and burgers. There are three vegetarian burger options and there are gluten free and dairy free items. Children are well catered with the Little Butchers menu, the store is licensed serving a range of beers and wine and their thickshakes are very popular.
The ribs and "knife and fork" meals such as the salmon, chicken and steak dishes are served with a choice of chips or slaw but other sides such as sweet potato fries and Greek salad can be added. Our meals were delicious and the tender juicy proteins were complemented by the fresh crunchy cabbage and apple salad (slaw).
