The annual Rhythm and Blues Variety Revue returns to the Astor Theatre, in Mount Lawley on Saturday 2 July 2016.

This spectacular revue is held to support the uniquely Australian war veterans' charity of Legacy.

A number of well known performers will be on stage. The headline performer this year will be former Mt Lawley High student and music legend Brian Cadd.

Brian is an Australian singer-songwriter, keyboardist and producer who has performed as a member of The Groop, Axiom, Flying Burrito Brothers and as a solo artist. He has established his own record label called Bootleg Records and wrote the music for the film Alvin Purple. One of his major hits was "A Little Ray of Sunshine".

In 2007, Cadd was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame. Some of Australia's finest performers come together to raise the awareness and funds for the families of deceased and ill health veterans of all wars, so that Legacy in WA can continue to change their lives.

They include Matt Taylor, Bob Patient, Katy Steele, Birdland, The Healys, the Rippin Horns, and the hilarious Peter Dee.

"Tiny" Holly will also entertain with his unique style of auctioneering and last year sold a "funny" seat signed by Rick Steele and a Garage Door, yes a Garage Door!

This is the 13th annual Legacy show that has been supported by Rick Steele, a popular Blues performer himself who will also be performing.

Doors open at 6.30pm with the show commencing at 7.30pm running till 11.30pm.

All tickets are $55.50 each with stalls being general admission or you can reserve a seat in the balcony for the same price.

Tickets are available at the Astor Theatre online here.
