Life is about the journey - some roads are not always what they seem but you sure learn a great deal from them!
An adventure awaits
2020 has been one of the most unprecedented years of the last several decades. However, despite it all, we have realised that our local community is more important than ever. Thus, this year's Reynoldson Reserve Wildflower Festival is bound to be one of the all-time best, with communities coming together to share beauty and life.
This year, the festival will take place from 30th October to 1 November. The weekend will kick off on Friday, with a 'sundowner' at Lesser Hall. Food and drinks will be available on purchase.
Saturday's events will commence at 9:30 am. There will be market stalls, food stalls and kids activities. Sabrina Hann, from ABC Gardening Guru, will be the guest speaker. This is a perfect opportunity to snap up some tips for your garden. There will be bus tours to and from the Reynoldson Reserve, which is about 22 km outside of Wongan Hills.
Sunday will host a display of vintage cars and motorbikes. Morning tea and lunch is available to purchase.
The Reynoldson Reserve Wildflower Festival attract visitors across the state. While there is accommodation, it is often booked out over this weekend. However, you can contact the visitor center to find out if there are any vacancies in the area.
Personally, this is one event I have circled in my calendar before COVID. I am looking forward to seeing the Verticordia in full bloom and experiencing true Wheatbelt hospitality.
