Calling all sustainable fashion fans! Brisbane City Council is proud to present Revive Second-hand Fashion Festival at the Brisbane Powerhouse, New Farm, on Sunday, 25 October 2020.
This is a FREE event, which is ticketed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all attendees and workers.
This year's fun, fashion-focused program also includes markets, runway shows, workshops, live entertainment as well as delicious bites from some of Brisbane's best food trucks!
Did you know that 6000kgs of unwanted clothing is sent to landfill every 10 minutes in Australia! At Revive Second-hand Fashion Festival you can find how to be part of the solution to our growing textile waste problem, simply by incorporating more pre-loved fashion into your wardrobe every day! By taking this small step, you will help reduce your impact on landfill and save money! What's not to love!
If you are crafty, check out the 50-minute, hands-on workshops for beginners. All equipment and materials will be supplied and no prior sewing or upcycling experience is required. Come and learn how to upcycle a pair of leggings, scarf or fabric into cute hair accessories, use simple techniques to transform a tablecloth into a circle skirt, and make your old jeans "pop" with patches. All sessions are ticketed through Eventbrite, separate to admission tickets. Click the links above to find out more.
Secure your FREE admission tickets today to the Revive Second-hand Fashion Festival 2020 here. Choose from the following timeslots: 9am-12pm, 12.30pm-3.30pm or 4-7pm.
Please note, a condition of taking part in this event is to provide full details for each attendee, as part of the event producers and Council's COVID Safe Plan. The safety and wellbeing of all attendees and workers is the highest priority.
