After getting a voucher for my birthday, I booked myself in for a well earned massage and pedicure. After browsing their website, I opted for the hot stone massage.
Arriving at the spa, I was greeted by a friendly face behind the counter. After being checked in, I was taken to a lounge area to fill in paperwork and wait for my therapist. After a short wait, I was taken to change and then to the treatment room.
The room was nice and warm, there was even an electric blanket on the table, and the lights were just the right brightness and the music wasn't too loud.
The massage was really relaxing, even with all the changing of stones in and out of the warming oil. I had expected the stones to be lined up along my back like you see in all the pictures, but only two were used at a time. The massage was also nice and firm, just the way I like them.
The pedicure that followed was also quite nice. The only complaint would be that I didn't have a pillow or similar to support my legs while my toes were painted, which did make my legs a bit sore.
Overall it was a great place to relax for a few hours. As well as the normal massages, manicures, pedicures and waxing, they also do packages to cater for your every desire, or make your own.
