About Reverse Garbage
Reverse Garbage Queensland is a resource reuse centre run as a not-for-profit worker-run co-operative. They promote environmental sustainability. "Waste is something we DO not something that IS. "

Reverse Garbage Queensland was founded in 1998 by Friends of the Earth, Brisbane.

They have won the following awards:
Resource Recovery Award (Group) Winner
2017 Greener Suburbs Awards, Brisbane City Council

Reverse Garbage Queensland collects industrial discards from more than 300 businesses around Brisbane. It then diverts them away from landfill and makes them available at low cost to the community.

Their warehouse is full of colourful and interesting materials. Each day they have a new truckload arriving so that stock is always changing.

These materials are suitable for several uses including art and craft, jewellery and costume making, theatre and film sets, party decoration, furniture and odd jobs around the home. They are available at just a fraction of the cost of purchasing new materials. If you buy from Reverse Garbage Queensland this also helps you to reduce your personal ecological impact.

So make sure you attend this party - it should be well worthwhile to pick up some unusual items!
