Encourage children to upcycle and create
Reverse Garbage hosts regular children's art workshops and these September - October School Holidays, they have 9 different workshops to choose from. All eco art workshops use recycled materials which are provided as part of the $20 cost.

Kids are encouraged to use recycled materials to create art

Handbags and Toolboxes Eco Workshop:
Construct and decorate your own handbag or toolbox. Great way to get little fingers gluing and cutting.
Wednesday, September 19, 11am - 12pm.
Ages 3-5yrs (parents must attend also)

Furry Friends Eco Workshop:
Use recycled car seat covers to make your own soft furry dog, cat, mouse, koala or kangaroo.
Monday, September 24, 10 - 11.30am.
Ages 6 -12 years (parent free zone)

Mad Hatter's Tea Party:
Join Alice in Wonderland and create your own top hat or crown.
Monday, September 24, 2.30pm - 4pm.
Ages 6 - 12 years (parent free zone).

Recycled rolls of fabric ready to be transformed

Robots, Spaceships and Aliens Eco Workshop:
Using industrial discards, create your own robot, spaceship or alien - maybe even one that runs on solar power.
Tuesday, September 25, 10 - 11.30am.
Ages 6 - 12 years (parent free zone).

Fairy Princess Eco Workshop:
This workshop is pretty in pink - make a unique outfit using none other than real wedding dress off cuts.
Tuesday, September 25, 2.30pm - 4pm.
Ages 6 - 12 years (parent free zone)

Dragons and Knights Eco Workshop:
Using salvaged materials, create your own fantasy creature and amazing knight outfit.
Thursday, September 27, 10 - 11.30am.
Ages 6 - 12 years (parent free zone).

Kite Making Eco Workshop:
Using plastic, string and wood, nimble finger are required to shape these aerodynamic wonders.
Thursday, 27 September, 2.30pm - 4pm.
Ages 9 - 12 years (parent free zone).

Musical Instruments Eco Workshop:
Start your own band with DIY shakers, rain sticks, drums and rattles.
Friday, 28 September, 10 - 11.30am.
Ages 6 - 12 years (parent free zone).

Pirates Ahoy Eco Workshop:
One person's trash is another person's pirate treasure - create your own pirate costume with eye patch and unique pirate hat to match.
Ages 6 - 12 years (parent free zone).
