SParms has been in the protection game supporting sporting clients and elite professionals from around the world for a long time, so it's not surprising that they've stepped up with face masks during this pandemic, using copper and (new arrival) nano silver technology.

Being community-minded, for every mask you buy, they donate a mask to charity. You'll be helping yourself and others at the same time when you purchase these quality masks. They're washable, reusable and come in kids sizes as well.

There are three types of masks ranging from $14.95 to $19.95 which is a reasonable price to pay for a quality product that also branches out to be charitable. You have a choice of the Cotton Copper Face Mask (V1); the Copper Face Mask (V2); and the Nano Silver Face Mask (V3) which come in a variety of colours and sizes as follows.

V1 - $14.95 - S, M, L - white, black, navy and grey
V2 - $19.95 - S, M, L, XL - white, black, and grey
V3 - $14.95 - XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL - white, black, dark grey, silver, dark blue, blue, light blue, hi vis orange, hi vis green, olive, violet, pink, nude

It stands to reason the kids sizes (suitable for toddlers as young as 1) come in the V3 that incorporates the new nano silver technology, has a huge variety of colours to make it fun for the little ones, and a greater variety in sizes.

Designed (the V3) not just for active kids but active adults as well, only high-quality non-toxic pro cool performance fabrics have been used for an excellent protection barrier that cups your face really well from the bridge of your nose to the bottom of your chin with its 3D contour. It remains highly breathable in spite of its two layers, which is really important when you're wearing it for a length of time.

The V2 copper face mask design is much like the V3 with its comfortable, stretch straps and seamless design, and the way it cups your face. It carries the same trademark of being non-toxic, pro-cool performance fabric and the inner layer integrated with copper yarns.

The V1 on the other hand is a cotton copper face mask which was SParms' original face mask with two layers; a soft hypoallergenic 100% cotton outer layer and the inner integrated with copper yarns. It has a more formal look so to speak, compared to the seamless V2 and V3. The fit of ear loops are also a lot firmer and does not give as much as the other two, hence it's very important to order the correct size for the V1.

The masks having a filter layer that's copper-infused means it acts as a superior antibacterial performance layer engineered for added protection. Nano Silver is a trademark name of an antibacterial technology which uses ionic silver nanoparticles for an overall anti-bacterial and anti-fungal effect and that's what you get in the V3.

The website has incredible detail on how to choose your size with a comprehensive size guide for every mask and you'll find all the FAQs HERE. As a company with innovative ideas towards solutions to problems, it made sense that their protection extends from the world of sun protection in sport to taking on the challenge to make a difference once again. Being reusable, it's economical, environmentally friendly and makes a difference in the community.

Of the three, my favourites were the V2 and V3, as I found their seamless design and more flexible ear loops absolutely comfortable, and it was a wonderful surprise to find breathing through all of them was effortless. Speaking from experience, I can see that these masks could also work better than others for those who get a little anxious, claustrophobic, or have asthmatic respiratory issues. Try it out and let us know what you think. Enjoy that these two masks are also anti-odour and work as a barrier against 99% of odours.
