The Most Fun You Can Have Working Out
retrosweat, exercise 80's style, aerobics

You have got to love the 80's (even if, like me, you hide your 80's photos). A decade of excess and over the top everything, be it clothing, hair or makeup. Aaah the memories. Permed or crimped hair, headbands, shoulder pads, legwarmers and glittery makeup. And the music. Guaranteed to get pretty much everyone up and dancing.

One thing I distinctly remember about the 80's, apart from the fashion, is how much FUN it was to go out. The music, the people, everyone seemed so much friendlier. And probably fitter too, as I recall the mainly female addiction to Aerobic classes. And Aerobic videos. I still have a few of those in the garage somewhere. And who can forget Jamie Lee Curtis in Perfect or Olivia Newton John in the Lets Get Physical clip. I'm sure at some point, we all aspired to look as good as they did in their G-string leotards, with their perfect bods and perfect outfits.

Aerobics 80's style -

I don't think those days ever least not in our minds. But, are you prepared to relive them? Welcome to Retrosweat, the authentic 1980's freestyle workout. Grapevine anyone?

Inspired by the original VHS workouts made famous by Retro fitness queens such as Jane Fonda, Denise Austin and Cher, Retrosweat will have you laughing while you tone that tummy and tush to a soundtrack of classic 80's grooves. Retrosweat is more than a workout. It's an experience.

She's Got The Look -

But first, there are some rules. You must look the part. Anything you wore to workout in the 80's is highly recommended. Spandex, lycra, dangly earrings and sparkly eyeshadow teamed with crimped hair & leg warmers could win you the "Best Dressed" award given out at every class & winning you a "Free Class Pass". So dig out those old 80's gym clothes, crop a top, find your legwarmers and head down to a class with some friends, I guarantee it's the most fun you will have working up a sweat. Even if you were born in the 90's.

Currently classes are being held three times a week as follows :

Tuesdays - Worldwide Dance Studios at 39-40/112 McEvoy St, Alexandria, 7pm.
Wednesdays - Bondi Pavilion, Seagull Room, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Bondi, 7pm.
Thursdays - Hiscoes Fitness Centre, 525 Crown St, Surry Hills, 7pm.

Casual classes are $20 and there are several discounted multi class passes to choose from with no long term membership required..

Please check the website or Facebook Page for further details and be sure to book your spot via the website as spaces are limited.
