If your passion is retro, or antiques, collecting, or even an escape for a pleasant outing to the brilliant Adelaide Hills, then the annual "RETROMANIA" Rotary Antiques & Collectables Fair is the place to be.
It will be held on the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of October 2016.
Held at the Woodside Institute and Woodside Primary School, this two day event is proudly presented by the Lobethal-based Rotary Club of Onkaparinga and will run from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
Entry is just $5 per adult and the event will play host to 35 specialist traders across 3 jam- packed venues - the Institute, Gymnasium and School Foyer.
Throughout the morning and afternoon, visitors will be invited to peruse a wide range of antiques and collectables; highlights include quality glassware, vintage china, crockery and ceramics; antique crystal and silver collectables; classic toys and children's books; vintage costume jewellery, fashion and accessories and much, much more.
Adding to the atmosphere will be live entertainment by Tamarisque, talented musicians who really know how to set the scene and will make you linger for more.
Home baking and the Club's famous BBQ, complement the catering delights. Something not to be missed. Wine tasting and sales cap off a trip and treat to remember.
This event has been running annually since 2008 and attracts visitors from near and far.
Proceeds support Polio eradication, local youth development, fire damage rebuilding, cranial- facial surgery for oceanic children, Shelter Box survival kits for victims of disasters in Vanuatu, Nepal. For full details of these efforts, speak to a Rotarian on the day.
