**HMS PopUp Productions' '', is eclectic two-day retro music and arts extravaganza in the heart of Northbridge on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November, 2013.
**
This anticipated event will feature the participation of over 20 home-grown and interstate retro style bands, showcasing everything from swing, to blues, to rockabilly, to 60's garage to soul and funk.
'' consists of two anticipated live music and arts events; ' The Rumble in the Underground ' on Saturday 23rd November in the Studio Underground at the State Theatre Centre of WA and the ' Rumble Free Festival ' in selected Northbridge venues on Sunday 24th November, 2013.





Participating in 'The Rumble in the Underground' event will be a total of 11 bands (5 talented home-grown acts, 5 'eastern interlopers' and incredible headliner – Mojo Juju!);

The Lucky 7 (Adelaide) vs Hammer Nine (Perth)
Jordan C Thomas (Sydney) vs Mama Red and the Dark Blues (Perth)
The Fabergettes (Melbourne) vs The High Learys (Perth)
Lady Voodoo (Adelaide) vs Natalie Gillespie (Perth)
Sin & Tonics (Tasmania) vs Waltones (Perth)

This battle of the bands style event will pit these bands against one another; song for song, across two stages, alternating tunes in a fast paced underground shoot-out.

Expect a massive ten hours of non-stop music for your listening and dancing pleasure!

Complementing the live music performances will be a bustling retro marketplace, a nostalgic retro games arcade, a vintage photo-booth, vintage hair and make-up stands, incredible dancers and much, much more.

Following 'The Rumble in the Underground' is the ' Rumble Free Festival ', a diverse retro music and arts festival - which is absolutely free.

All are invited to attend this vibrant and festive celebration of past eras; you'll find a massive retro market in Russell Square and be able to enjoy musical walking tours of Northbridge, as well as vintage cars, retro foods and drinks, retro dance classes and more!

Selected Northbridge food venues will also be offering signature retro dishes and there will also be fabulous gifts and prizes up for grabs.

Music will also be at the heart of the 'Rumble Free Festival'; enjoy the retro sounds of 8 Perth and interstate bands; including:

Miss Pia Andersen / Johnny Law and the Pistol Packin' Daddies (retro glam)

Concluding '' will be a free dance party at the Northbridge Piazza featuring a range of retro music stylings, accompanied by a backdrop of footage from each musical era.
