An event featuring recycled, repurposed and reimaged objects will take place at Ballarat Trades Hall from 18 to 19 November 2017.

The weekend will focus on the recycling and reusing of waste with informative speakers, workshops and an art exhibition

Rethink opens on 17 November, featuring a fashion art parade highlighting artists who had made wearable fashion pieces from reclaimed junk and waste objects.

Some of the guest speakers include Bianca from The Wardrobe Green, Scott and Amanda from Backyard Beekeeping Ballarat, Steve Burns from The Hidden Orchard, Members of Grampians Central West Waste & Resource Recovery Group. Bookings are essential for workshop participation.

Special guest speaker will be Gardening Australia host Costa Georgiadi. He's not only an expert gardener and landscaper, he's passionate about the environment and sustainability.

This will be an annual event held in National Recycling Week.

It's proudly sponsored by Grampians Central West Waste & Resource Recovery Group, Munash Fertilisers, Yealands Wines and Junkies Magazine.

Come along to this unique event of Rethink, where you learn how to transform discarded items or useless everyday objects in Ballarat on 18 to 19 November.
