The buffet from which you can choose includes meat and seafood to cook, hot dishes, salads and Korean side dishes. There is some dessert if you still are hungry.

The idea is that you choose from the meat and seafood (pork, pork belly, beef, chicken, prawns and baby octopus) and take it back to your table and grill right on your table at your pace and to your taste. Everyone, including the kids, can have fun cooking their meal.

To go along with the meat, there is also a variety of hot dishes (spring rolls, chicken wings, baked pumpkin, deep fried sweet potato and pasta). These are already cooked and ready to eat.

There is salad and a nice selection of Korean side dishes - Kimchi, radish kimchi, stir-fried fish cakes, seasoned bean sprouts, seaweed salad and seaweed paste. These complement the BBQ nicely.

I really enjoyed the Korean dishes and my husband really enjoyed the charcoal grilled meat. We had the added wagyu steak to go along with the meal. The charcoal gives the food a wonderful flavour and grilling your meal is really a hands-on experience.

Fun for all the family

The restaurant is located in the Princess Plaza near the Diana Hotel across from the Mater hospital and has parking right out front. It is open for set lunch menu Monday to Friday from 11.30 for $11.90. The BBQ buffet is available for dinner from 5pm and is priced at $31.90 during the week and $34.90 over the weekend. They are licenced and have a small selection of wines, beer and ciders.

We had a nice white wine for $22.

So bring your appetite and your friends for a fun and unique dining experience. Even though you cook part of your meal, the best thing is that you don't have to do the washing up.
