Kids are awesome, so today, I interviewed some kids about their New Year's resolutions. There are some de-resolutions here, too, which I'm pretty sure is made up. To 'de-resolve' just means 'to stop doing.'

I resolve to start being nicer to my sister. (Katie,12)

I resolve to play with fairies. (Melody, 4)

I de-resolve to listen to scary stories. (Josh, 9)

I de-resolve wasting time on video games. I resolve spending time with my bff instead. (Luke, 10)

I resolve to do something nice. (Shane, 5)

I de-resolve to think about scary movies I saw in the past. I resolve to let it go and think about what is ahead of me. (Ashley, 7)

I resolve to donate toys I don't need anymore. And some of my electronics that I don't need. (Bonnie, 7)

I resolve to...I don't know. Have a sleepover. (Julie, 4)

What should grown-ups do in 2013?

Pay more attention to kids. (Bonnie, 7)

Eat more broccoli and vinegar (Luke, 10)

Spend more money on kids! (Josh,9)

Eat packaged oatmeal (Ashley,7)

Make scarves for people (Julie, 4)

Be less strict. (Katie,12)

Eat vegetables! (Shane, 5)

Ask the kids in your life what their New Year goals are. It's fun to see what they'll say.
