Looking for the ideal destination to please everyone? at Trott Park ticks all the boxes. The backseat passengers will cheer. The four footed family members will hang out the window in excitement as you pull into one of the two off street carparks.

Happy Dogs
The dog park is massive! It contains its own protected Biodiversity Conservation Site within the fenced dog park, which gives dog walkers a focus to walking circuits of the park. The dog park provides easy access to many parts of the community with three double gate entrances.

Inside the safety double gates is a designated 'active area' and a 'passive area'. Dog owners tend to gather in the 'active area', which has a handy shelter with seating. It is the perfect meeting area for throwing balls and having a chat.

Water fountains for dogs and humans are found in both areas.

Natural log seating is scattered around the park. There are also dog bag dispensers, bins, tennis balls and sticks.

Happy Nature Lovers
is a Neighbourhood Reserve of 4.5 hectares. The dog park encloses 4150 square metres. With lots of mature trees, bushes, grass and views to the hills, you will feel the rejuvenation of being surrounded by nature.

The Biodiversity Conservation Site is part of the Great Southern Urban Forest. This environmentally sensitive area is fenced to protect plants. There are gates into the area for retrieving balls.

Happy Children
The playground features the Boulder Challenge. Who will make it to the top?

Once at the top there is a twisty slide, ladder or ramp to descend. Monkey bars or balance steps are a final challenge before reaching the ground. Littlies will like the steering wheels and café counter underneath. Three different swings suit all ages from infants to young teens, who will enjoy sharing the bird's nest swing with a friend. The wide open grassed area is great for ball games, running or frisbee and a three on three basketball court will keep the older energetic ones engaged.

Happy Families
also has a barbeque, picnic shelter and toilet with baby change facilities and attractive wall murals.

There are lots of benches scattered around for easy supervision of children on the playground.

A sense of peace pervades this wide open reserve with its stunning hills views. Come for a visit, because it will definitely make the kids or the dog happy. But I have a sneaking suspicion they won't be the only happy visitors heading back home.
