Mounted Light Horsemen will lead the parade to the Shrine of Remembrance.

The parade aims to honour all past and present members of Australia's Army, Navy and Air Force reserve units and to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Beersheba during World War 1.

Units will form up on Birdwood Avenue near Government House drive and march to the Shrine forecourt where a commemorative service and wreath-laying ceremony will be conducted.

Reserve Forces Day is intended to raise the profile of our military reserve units, to recognise the service of the 1.25 million past & present members and to thank members partners and employers for their support.
