Event: -

What is the study? We are researchers at the University of South Australia and we want to understand more about the relationship between diet & lifestyle and cognitive function in cancer survivors.

Who can participate? We are looking for Australians who:

  • Were diagnosed with primary breast, bowel or colorectal cancer as an adult

  • Were diagnosed between 6 months and 5 years ago

  • Are at least 18 years old, fluent in English and have computer & internet access

    Have not:

  • In the last 3 months had chemo-, radio-, immunotherapy or surgery for cancer (hormone treatment ok)

  • Had a traumatic head/brain injury, stroke or TIA in the last 10 years

  • Ever been diagnosed with MS, dementia, Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease

  • And are not currently pregnant/breastfeeding

    What does it involve?

  • If eligible, putting aside 2.5 hours in the morning at home where you won't be disturbed and can be fasting since midnight. In this session you will collect and return a finger-prick blood sample (we send you a kit), complete online questionnaires about cognition, diet, lifestyle and cancer, and complete online cognitive exercises.

What's in it for me? A $50 honorarium and a brief dietary report.
