Just a girl spreading the word about all the fun (and probably nerdy) things to do!
Event: -
The chance to play the role of a hero

Australia's National Maritime Museum would probably be on your to-do list if you were going to see all the sites around Darling Harbour. I mean, you have the Sea-Life Aquarium, the Wildlife World and The Chinese Garden of Friendship, so naturally you would also go to see the National Maritime Museum.

The Maritime Museum has many children's attractions such as the pirate ship, waterpark, and now the 'Ships at the Sea' (which will be open until the 28th of April), where kids can experience interactive activities such as navigating, steering ships, and hearing seafarers stories.

Now their next big event will open on the 16th of March; a new exhibition called 'Rescue', where kids can experience a rescue mission in all forms, such as life rafts, helicopter rides and fire-fighters rescues. All these activities allow kids to have an experience at being a real life rescuer, whilst still being safe and having fun. The exhibit is filled with activities which are bound to keep them entertained for hours.

This is definitely something kids will enjoy, and it will let many of them to have the experience of being a hero. So pick up your things and make your way to the Maritime Museum.
