Summer days are perfect to stop and relax at Republica , the infamous beachside restaurant and bar, located at 10-18 Jacka Boulevard, St Kilda.

Relax on one of the outdoor swinging wicker chairs with a beach view; in the large courtyard with live music; or in the winter months, by the indoor fireplace.

Order a glass of sparkling wine and some oysters, or for something more, select from the a la carte menu, which includes starters such as roasted pork belly, apples and pistachio ($18); main options of seafood, chicken, and steak ($25-$28); pizzas ($16-$19); and desserts ($7.50-$14).

Enjoy beach volleyball Tuesday to Thursday (from 5pm); free live music on Fridays (from 7pm), Saturdays (from 2pm) and Sunday (from noon); and happy hour Monday to Friday (from 5-6pm).

An ideal beachside venue for drinks, dinner or just chilling out and watching the sun set across St Kilda beach.
