Renaissance Kids is a great new concept in art classes for children aged 5 to 12. They say you can't make a big mistake in art but you can make your art big. Classes run around Brisbane for 8 weeks during a school term.

There are a maximum of 9 students per class, allowing for a more personal experience with the Renaissance teachers. The teachers all have a blue card and lots of experience working with kids.

Each week children study a new artist then work in that style. Classes are fully interactive and fun. At the end of the course the children get to showcase their work to family and friends and talk about their favourite artists.

All equipment and materials are included, so there are no hidden costs. Each child receives an art bag on registration with their own equipment which they get to keep. Cost for the first term is $200 and for returning students is $180.

Check the website for more information on locations and times of classes.
