The 11th day of the 11th month in 2014 marks the 96th anniversary of the end of the First World War. Remembrance Day services are held throughout metropolitan and country South Australia at 11am. Remembrance Day gives time for thoughts and prayers for loved ones and those who gave their lives in service of their country. The long held belief of our nation is that we will remember the fallen, those who lost their lives and those who continue to serve.



There are many special Remembrance Day events in 2014, including the Remembrance Business Breakfast , 7 November 2014, 7–9 am at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Further info is available here There will also be many Remembrance Day services. The Adelaide Remembrance Day Service commences at 10.45am at the South Australian National War Memorial, North Terrace & Kintore Avenue.



A special Remembrance worship service will take place at at St Peter's Cathedral, 27 King William Rd, Adelaide. On Sunday, November 9th at 7pm, to remember the past, honour the present and pray for the future. Join the Governor of South Australia, members of the RSL SA, serving members of the Australian Defence Force and their families, and the general public in this special service. Extra free parking available on the Torrens Parade Ground.
