On Saturday 11 November, come and join the Remembrance Day commemoration at Club Ryde from 11 am.

Remembrance Day is a time to come together to remember and reflect on the events that shaped our nation. On this day, we pay respect and pause for one minute to remember the service and sacrifice of our veterans and current serving personnel.

The community is invited to lay a personal wreath as part of the service.

Following the ceremony, you can take part in Two Up on the Greens from 12 pm to 5 pm.

Two Up was a popular game that Australian soldiers played on the front line. The “spinner” throws two coins into the air and players bet on how they think the coins will land.

The game is traditionally played in pubs and clubs throughout Australia on Anzac Day, Victory in the Pacific Day and Remembrance Day, in part to mark a shared experience with diggers.

Come along and honour our history.

Plus enjoy the great atmosphere with a Coopers container bar on the Greens, as well as the newly opened wine container bar and dome for shade.

The playground with a second greens is perfect for kids to kick a ball around too (make sure to bring your own ball!).

It's sure to be a memorable day out for the whole family!
