Stretch, relax and focus in a FREE Yoga and Meditation session in one of Brisbane's oldest and most picturesque parks this summer.

Is your New Year's Resolution to try to increase your mental and physical fitness or perhaps you have wanted to try yoga but haven't had the opportunity? Well, this could be the chance to do all of those things.

Yoga and Meditation in New Farm Park is hosted by Glenis Ingram. Term 1, 2024 runs from 28th January to 24th March from 3pm to 4pm *weather conditions permitting*

Bring along your yoga mat or a towel to practice on.

As well, optional BYO items include:
  • a ground sheet/tarp if the ground is damp/cool
  • water bottle
  • sun protection
  • insect repellent if required
  • Anything else that you might need to support your comfort during the class
  • friends, family, neighbours, colleagues

  • ‘This activity has been funded by Brisbane City Council as part of Council's Active and Healthy program.’ The Program provides free and affordable events and activities across Brisbane that promote movement, wellbeing and connection. It is open to all Brisbane residents - all ages, fitness levels and abilities are welcome.

    If you are interested in attending a free yoga session, New Farm Park is located 3 kilometres from the Central Business District on Brunswick Street, New Farm. The park is highly accessible with free parking or you might want to catch a City Cat ferry at disembark at the New Farm Park terminal, or maybe bus, bicycle or walk to the park.
