Skip your usual boring sandwich at your desk
As part of the 25th annual Melbourne Food and Wine Festival why not join in one of the many Regional World's Longest Lunches?

Spend Friday 31 March 2017 out of the office and away from the city with friends enjoying a long, leisurely lunch in one of Victoria's stunning regional areas.

There will be over 20 long tables across the state celebrating local producers with gourmet food accompanied by local wines and craft brews.

Whether you choose an Alpine adventure, a visit to the Goldfields or a seafood extravaganza by the sea, there is something for everyone.
food, wine, festival, long lunch
Delicious local produce

To whet your appetite, check out some of the suggestions below:

Mount Dandenong - SkyHigh Mount Dandenong with spectacular views over Melbourne. Lunch is designed by Head Chef Richard Johnston using local produce from the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges with wines especially chosen to match and complement the menu.

Bass Coast - At the RACV Inverloch Resort, follow a tasting pathway filled with regional produce stalls, ending with a two-course lunch with magnificent ocean views.

Pretty Valley, Falls Creek - Prepared by Barry Iddles from "Elk at Falls", this dining experience commences with canapes followed by three mouth-watering courses and wines from local vineyards whilst surrounded by stunning Alpine views.

Gembrook - Join Chef Mauro Callegari for an Argentinian feast starting at the The Independent for a Melbourne gin cocktail and canapes followed by lunch at the heritage listed Gembrook Station. With Puffing Billy putting in an appearance, you'll be tucking into lunch accompanied by music and entertainment with a South American feel. Toot Toot.
With plenty of wine to wash down the glorious food
