Celebrate and explore WA regions with these fabulous events
No matter what part of this beautiful state you find yourself in, there is always a great festival or event to celebrate. Here are some of the great festivals you will find in the regions in early 2019.

January 18th - 20th
Karridale, Margaret River
Adult tickets from $65 including one night of camping or $125 for full three days

Karnidale is like no other regional festival. It features market stalls, music, workshops and entertainment by day and bands, risqué cabaret and international comedy by night. Get up close and personal with the acrobats and aerialists and try some circus classes, all the while camping in the beautiful forest. Children welcome.

Boyup Brook Country Music Festival
February 15th – 17th

Adult tickets from $45 for one day to $180 for full three days

Held in the beautiful south west bush, the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival is WA's biggest country music celebration, held over three days with camping available. The line-up includes some of country music's biggest names with the program boasting a street carnival, Ute Muster, Bush Poet's Breakfast, workshops, concerts plus the West Australian Country Music Awards, Art Awards and more.

Celebrate WA's incredible range of craft beers, at The South West Craft Beer Festival. This 18 one day event showcases over 120 local beers plus great food and music and local wines and ciders as well. Ticket price includes a special beer glass.

The South West Multicultural Festival is a free family-friendly event that celebrates the culturally diverse communities that make up and contribute to our south west. There will be a range of stalls and workshops, demonstrations, performances, plus art and craft displays. Enjoy a range of food and end the day with an evening of dance and music.

Busselton Fringe

Ticketed and free events

Held over a week, the Busselton Fringe showcases a range of artistic mediums from burlesque to circus, street theatre to visual art, stand up to musical theatre. With a range of free and ticketed events, this family-friendly event is hosted at various locations around the south west, including the iconic Busselton Jetty and Ngilgi Cave. The huge end of Fringe party will include live music and performances by local and visiting artists, a children's dance show, body art parade, aerialists, ukulele band plus food and a pop-up bar.

Nannup Music Festival

Nannup Music Festival
March 1st – 4th
Adult tickets from $190 for 3 days plus $60 camping

The Nannup Music Festival packs a lot into a weekend with an exciting range of music from across the state and globe, plus art workshops, music masterclasses, health discussions and activities, street shows, poetry and meditation, plus lots of delicious food and handmade markets. There will be a dedicated kids area, plus busking and jamming, enjoy the street art and sculpture walks, or just get away for a while with river swims and wilderness walks.

Celebrating everything wonderful about rural living, the Wagin Woolorama is a huge agricultural show which attracts over 20,000 visitors to the region. There will be more than 350 exhibitors plus a huge range of animal displays and competitions including working sheepdogs and shearing competitions. Enjoy market stalls, fashion parades, lifestyle displays plus a huge art, craft and photography competition. Head to sideshow alley for great games and rides and finish the event with a 2-hour rodeo spectacular.

Located in beautiful Harvey, celebrate the atmosphere of Italy at this year's LiveLighter Harvey Harvest Festival. You will enjoy all things Italian with food, wine, art and culture with the region's celebrated brands contributing to paddock to plate cooking demonstrations. There will also be children's rides and activities, market stalls, a petting zoo, fairy workshops, street theatre, the Grape Stomp and more.
