Fans of Regina Spektor will be excited to know that the New York singer-songwriter is returning to Australian shores this December to promote her latest album, What We Saw From the Cheap Seats . This is her sixth album to date, and critics are saying that it may be her best work yet. She'll be kicking off the tour on the 6th of December in Brisbane before doing three shows in Sydney followed by concerts in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Here's a list of when she'll be performing, and where:
**
6 Dec** - Brisbane Convention Centre, Brisbane
8 Dec - Enmore Theatre, Sydney
10 Dec - Sydney Opera House, Sydney
11 Dec - Sydney Opera House, Sydney
14 Dec - The Plenary, Melbourne
16 Dec - Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide
19 Dec - Belvoir Amphitheatre, Perth

I was first introduced to Regina Spektor's music when I watched The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, as she sang the song that accompanied the end credits ('The Call'). She's also got songs in the soundtrack of 500 Days of Summer, namely 'Us' and 'Hero'. She's got a really quirky style of singing, almost playful sometimes while haunting in other instances. The fact that she plays all the piano pieces for her songs just adds to this woman's live stage talent.

Tickets are being sold at about $95 and above, but the Sydney Opera House tickets appear to have sold out very fast. However, tickets for Enmore Theatre are still selling for $100.60 . Tickets are still selling for Melbourne and Perth at Ticketmaster , while Adelaide and Brisbane residents should head for Ticketek .
